Keystone Youth Basketball is a new organization to the Lagrange Community!

This is an opportunity for K-3 students at Keystone Elementary! Home-school students in the Lagrange area are also welcome. The program will run December – January.

Kindergarten and 1st graders will have skill sessions 1 time a week in the evening at KMS. Dates and times TBD.
2nd/3rd Grade will be $30.
K/1st Grade will be $15.

2nd and 3rd graders will have practices 2 times a week, as well as games on Saturdays at KMS. Depending on registration numbers, it will determine game times and quantity (likely Saturdays at 11am and 12pm). Practices will be by gender and grade, games will be co-ed.

Teams will be divided to ensure each team has a similar competitive balance. Coaches will work together to divide teams, therefore coach/teammate requests will not be accepted at this time.

Additional Information

Keystone Boys Youth Basketball is organized by the Keystone Basketball Program in conjunction with the Keystone Girls Basketball Program.  Gym time is divided between the boys and girls youth teams from Kindergarten to 6th grade.  Teams are completely dependent on whether or not we have enough coaches to cover all the age groups.  With that being said, it’s difficult to find space on a team for everyone interested.  We always do our absolute best to find a team for every Keystone student who would like to play.  Most, if not all the coaches are parents.  Some of which have been coaching the same kids for years and even in other sports.  There are a variety of different leagues our youth teams compete in.  Leagues range from the LC8 league in Lorain County, North Coast League in Lorain & Cuyahoga County, Cleveland Community League in Medina, Cuyahoga, & Summit Counties, Berea Youth League, and the Hooptech Youth League in North Ridgeville.  We do our best to place teams in the appropriate league based on age, talent, & experience.  Most youth basketball leagues run through the months of December, January, and early February.

This website can be used to show that your child is interested in joining a team and we will do our best to find enough coaches and gym space for that to happen.  If interest is high we might have to have a tryout to limit numbers based on gym space and coach availability.  If there are any parents interested in coaching a team please let me know.

If anyone has additional questions please email Head Boys Basketball Coach Jeff Holzhauer.
